Three Blind Mice
Three Blind Mice
Three Blind Mice is a very old rhyme, which rather brutally tells of a farmer's wife cutting off the tails of three blind mice. As with many nursery rhymes, it most likely reflects historical events on the British Isle. In this case, the farmer's wife is possibly Mary Queen of Scotts who was none too friendly to three protestant bishops. It is not necessary to gesture the cutting off of the tails but still enjoy the sounds of the words and the beautiful melody.
